Maria Elisa Mancuso is a senior haematology consultant at the Center for Thrombosis and Hemorrhagic Diseases, IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano, Milan, Italy, where she cares for children and adults with haemophilia and other congenital bleeding disorders. She is also an adjunct clinical professor at the Humanitas University, Milan.
She holds a post-degree in clinical and experimental haematology and a PhD in clinical methodology. She has been principal- or co-investigator of several clinical trials, and has a specific scientific interest in novel therapies, prophylaxis, inhibitors and chronic hepatitis C. She has published numerous original articles, served as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals, and is an editorial board member for the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
She is a member of several scientific societies and a medical member of the European Rare and Inhibitor Network Working Group of the European Hemophilia Consortium. She completed her habilitation in haematology and haemostaseology at the University of Hamburg, where she obtained the title of Privatdozent. Her clinical and research interests focus on haemophilia and other bleeding disorders, especially on joint health, pain management, social status, inhibitors and osteoporosis in patients with haemophilia.

Robert Klamroth is the director and head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Vascular Medicine and Coagulation Disorders, and director of the Haemophilia Treatment Centre for Children and Adults at the Vivantes Clinic in Friedrichshain, Berlin, Germany. He is also an adjunctive professor at the Institute of Experimental Haematology and Transfusion Medicine in Bonn, Germany.
He obtained his medical degree at the Free University of Berlin, Berlin, and holds specialist training degrees in internal medicine, haemostaseology (coagulation disorders) and angiology. He completed his habilitation in haemostaseology at the University of Bonn, Bonn, obtaining the title of Privatdozent.
He is a member of national and international societies in the fields of angiology, thrombosis and haemostasis. He is chairman of the Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research and the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders. He has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, review articles and book chapters. He has initiated, realised and participated as an investigator of numerous clinical trials (phases I–IV) of new products in haemophilia and antithrombotic agents.

Sébastien Lobet is a physiotherapist and researcher at the Haemostasis and Thrombosis Unit of the Saint-Luc University Hospital, Brussels, Belgium. He is also founder and manager of the Exercise Medicine Centre Da Vinci Health, Wavre, Belgium. He is former chairman of the Physiotherapy Group of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders.
He completed a Master’s degree in sport physiotherapy at the Catholic University of Louvain, Brussels, a degree in paediatric orthopaedic physiotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, and a PhD at the Institute of Neurosciences, Catholic University of Louvain, where his thesis focused on the functional assessment of haemophilic arthropathy by three-dimensional gait analysis. His current research focuses primarily on the musculoskeletal assessment of children and adults with haemophilia. He has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, as well as numerous brochures.
